Martyna Janczak: Psychologist and EMDR Therapist (AHPRA: PSY0001527724)

Martyna Janczak is an accomplished Senior Psychologist with over a decade of diverse clinical experience across a range of different settings. Martyna has worked in private practice, hospital, organisational and Defence environments and has supported clients with a range of clinical concerns. She adopts a person-centred focus in her approach to therapy, tailoring her approach to work to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.

Martyna considers warmth, compassion and a sense of emotional safety to be pivotal aspects to the therapeutic relationship, enabling clients to feel seen, heard and understood. To support this, she offers an eclectic therapeutic approach, whereby she utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic tools and modalities, drawing upon her training and experience in CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, EMDR, and others, to make therapy meaningful, impactful, and respectful of each client’s preferences and individual needs.

Martyna has also completed advanced training in EMDR and has a special interest in working with trauma and attachment-based relationship difficulties. She is passionate about helping people achieve a sense of health, wellbeing and vitality, and as part of her ongoing commitment to her professional development, she is currently undertaking her Clinical Psychologist Registrar program.
