Mental Health Care Plan (Medicare)

Eligibility for a Mental Health Plan allows you to receive Medicare rebates when undergoing psychological treatment. You can get up to 10 psychology sessions covered annually. Ask your GP to consider a Mental Health Care Plan so you can get affordable access to therapy.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel an appointment, Wombat requires at least 2 business days’ notice. Any appointments canceled or missed without this notice will incur a cancellation fee.

Late Payment Fee

Please ensure payment is completed within 48 hours of the session. Payments made later than this will incur a $25 late payment fee. If payment is not made within 72 hours upcoming appointments will be cancelled.

Cancellation Fee

(i) If you cancel 48 hours or more before the event, you won't have to pay a cancellation fee.
(ii) If you cancel 24 to 48 hours before the event, you will need to pay 50% of the session cost.
(iii) If you cancel less than 24 hours before the event, you will need to pay 75% of the session cost.
(iv) If you don't show up for a booked session, you will be charged the full session amount with no refund or transfer.
